How to set the time?

by bludin on Wed Jun 10, 2020 3:24 pm

My itsybitsy M4 always travels back to Jan 1, 2020. Not surprising, since it lacks an RTC.
But how can I set the time manually?
Seems almost to trivial a question, but I just can't seem to find the answer....

If you are using CircuitPython 5.x: https://circuitpython.readthedocs.io/en/5.0.x/shared-bindings/rtc/RTC.html

The best approach if you need date/time with any accuracy is to add an RTC such as https://www.adafruit.com/product/3028 or https://www.adafruit.com/product/3013.

Perfect! Thanks a lot. That's what I've been looking for (in all the wrong places).
