Write a file from CP on 4481

by pog on Fri Jun 12, 2020 7:13 pm

Hello,

I'd like to write a file from CircuitPython on a 4481.

Bare
ifd=open('code.py')

works but attempting to open a file to write fails as the file system is read only.

Is there a way around this? I am assuming the files are all on the QSPI flash on the 4481.

Thanks,
f

To cp, the file system is read-only by default, i.e. only the USB host has write access.
Here's a guide on how to establish write access for cp: https://learn.adafruit.com/cpu-temperature-logging-with-circuit-python/writing-to-the-filesystem
