Couldn't find a CircuitPython device !!

by Masah on Thu Sep 03, 2020 7:28 am

Hello Adafreuit team!

I am trying to write some code in Circuitpython with Mu on RPI for my I2S MEMS. I just followed these steps https://learn.adafruit.com/circuitpytho ... spberry-pi ... the Blinka Test is working well with Python 3 Mode.
When I select Adafruit CircuitPython mode appears as this window:
I can't run any code in this mode!!

I tried
Code: Select all | TOGGLE FULL SIZE
sudo python3 -m pip install --upgrade --force-reinstall adafruit-blinka Adafruit-PlatformDetect

But still have the same problem. No device is recognized.
**From The Terminal I was able to find the MEMS microphone and to record.
Can you help me to solve that ?

The Pi, and comparable boards (https://circuitpython.org/blinka), does not run CircuitPython, it runs Python3 with Blinka which lets you use CircuitPython libraries.

CircuitPython runs on embedded hardware (https://circuitpython.org/downloads) typically connected via USB.
