Run CircuitPython Program Automatically on Boot - Raspberry

by PsychoGerbil420 on Sun Sep 20, 2020 5:15 pm

I used some INA260s for a system power monitoring project. Everything works great, but I need to go into the Pi every time and run the program. I want it to "just work" like an Arduino!

How can I get the program to run automatically every time it boots?

Raspberry Pi 4
INA260 (qty 5)
CircuitPython
Python3

This is a fairly common task for linux and raspberry pis, so you're not alone!

Here are some methods to try. You can pick one based on what you need:

I haven't personally followed these exact instructions so I can't be 100% that they work, however these are common solutions to this problem, so they should work
