Missing 'machine' module for Jetson Nano

by brianvaldez226 on Fri Oct 09, 2020 3:06 pm

Hello everyone,
I've been trying to set up the PCA9685 for a jetson nano following this and other tutorials: https://learn.adafruit.com/circuitpytho ... tial-setup

• I'm fairly new to Linux-based systems.
• I skipped the first steps as I already had SDK image running, but I did run the codes for all updates again.

I get to the point where it detects I2C addresses connected succesfully
Code: Select all | TOGGLE FULL SIZE
sudo i2cdetect -r -y 1

But later on I get the error No module named 'machine' whenever I try to create an I2C device:
Code: Select all | TOGGLE FULL SIZE
import board
import digitalio
import busio

i2c = busio.I2C(board.SCL, board.SDA)

• I have that code on a script and I'm running it with python3 code.py, but I have also tried it directly from the python shell. What could it be causing the error?
