Web-based IDE for CircuitPython, works on Chromebooks!

I wanted to share something I've been working on that's turned out to be pretty cool, and hopefully useful to anyone out there having fun and making projects with CircuitPython. It's an IDE for CircuitPython right in the browser and it works on Chromebooks!

It loads to RAM via the REPL, so loading from the browser is always tethered and temporary - but it lets you iterate your code quickly and easily. Once you are happy with it, then you can just download the code.py file and drag it to your CircuitPython device in your filesystem.

Plus - all of the example code from Adafruit's Github CircuitPython repos are available for direct import into the editor, making getting started a breeze!

It's available at https://slappy.io
