mu editor not showing files

by bagley on Sun Nov 15, 2020 12:23 pm

Just getting started with circuitpython, purchased the starter kit with itsy bitsy m4 and followed the instructions starting at the "welcome to circuit python" page. Most things look to be working correctly; circuitpy shows up as a usb drive, can open the folder and see all the files. Problem, after installing and opening Mu, click "load", navigate to the circuitpy drive, and it does not show any of the text files, including the code.py file. Any reason why this could be?

thanks for the help.

Did you create the code.py file yourself? My guess is that it has a hidden .txt extension after the .py and Mu is filtered to only seeing files that end in .py.
