Is there a CircuitPython library for the AS3935 lightning se

by geotek on Sat Mar 27, 2021 8:04 pm

I would like to connect an AS3935 lightning sensor to a RPI Pico.
Is there a CircuitPython library for the sensor?
Has anyone already connect the lightning sensor to a Pico?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Tom

There is one from the community here: https://github.com/BiffoBear/CircuitPyt ... /tree/main

It is in the community bundle: https://github.com/adafruit/CircuitPyth ... ty_Bundle/ (libraries not supported by Adafruit)

Re:CircuitPython library for AS3935
Glad t see a library for the AS3935,
I have a few questions.

1. BiffoBear’s program appears to use three pins. It Iam not sure how to translate the pins in his program to a RPI Pico?
2. Is there anyway I can get in touch with BiffoBear - Martin Stevens?
Thanks

Greetings

I need some help in wiring a an As3935 lightning sensor to a RPI Pico for a new project.
I want to use Adafruit CircuitPython library’s software for the As3935 for use with Pico but don’t know how to translate pin to pin connection between The As3935 sensor and the Pico to begin my project. Has anyone done this can I get some help?
Thanks
Tom
