I'm working on a project that involves the 2.0" display !PS TFT display. How do I show bitmaps stored on a microSD card in CircuitPython?

The tutorial guide for the display https://learn.adafruit.com/2-0-inch-320-x-240-color-ips-tft-display covers displaying a bitmap read from the flash filesystem.
To use the sd card on the display board, see that guide as well as the code examples in https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-micro-sd-breakout-board-card-tutorial.
Once you have the SD card mounted you use it like the filesystem).
