Pico EEPROM CircuitPython

by KJRC on Sat Apr 24, 2021 1:31 am

I am attempting to find a library or some documentation to add an EEPROM (preferably AT24C256) to my Pi Pico project. I dont seem to be able to find a circuitpython library or a doc and was wondering if I am missing something.

I would like to stay in circuitpython for a bit as I am learning and would like to keep on until I am a bit more comfortable.

I did find a micropython library. But I think it a bit over my head for the moment to dig into that and keep with circuitpython.
Thanks in advance

I don't know of any EEPROM libraries for CircuitPython. The FRAM library is probably the closest: https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_CircuitPython_FRAM

How much data do you want to store? For small <4k you can use nvm: https://circuitpython.readthedocs.io/en ... index.html For larger amounts you could use an SD card: https://learn.adafruit.com/micropython- ... e-sd-cards
