Find boards via primary processor (circuitpython.org improve

by water35 on Sat Apr 24, 2021 7:21 am

I want to find boards via primary processor,is it possible add a option to list primary processor
used on board or filter on circuitpython downloads page?

e.g.
Input 'ESP32-S2' in 'Search for CircuitPython boards' field, or check 'Espressif' in Filters,
the 'NanoESP32 S2' can't list out both,

Input 'SAMD' in 'Search for CircuitPython boards' field, or check 'Microchip' in Filters,
most boards used 'SAMD51' processor can't list out, only few boards used 'SAMD21' processor list out.

I don't think it's possible through the website now. I'd recommend filing an issue here for it: https://github.com/adafruit/circuitpython-org/issues It's a good idea.

In the meantime, you can tell all ESP32-S2 at least by looking in the source: https://github.com/adafruit/circuitpyth ... 2s2/boards This is tougher for ports with more than one chip like the atmel-samd folder.
