Adafruit BME680 and Gas output in ohms

Post by Tom_Henry »

Adafruit's BME680 Sensor

According to lady ada: Adafruit's BME680 sensor contains temperature, humidity, barometric pressure and VOC gas sensing capabilities.

The VOC gas sensing output is in ohms. Is their some kind of chart or whatever that would tell me what different ohm readings mean? and how do I relate those readings to say air quality in our house?

Thank you,

Tom Henry

The VOC reading are more of relative and depend on what it is testing. The most you can do is record the output and know that the more output is indicative of more concentration. You could alsos test and calibrate your readings.
