ESP32-C3 Support possible?

Post by rando »

Howdy,

Wondering if the new, very inexpensive, ESP32-C3 has the USB running gears to make a port of CircuitPython feasible?

I guess it has an onboard USB support for native JTAG hosted by the chip with no external hardware required? Sounds cheap and exciting, my favorite things!

It doesn't have a full USB peripheral so it'll never show as a CIRCUITPY drive. We did just introduce a BLE workflow in CP so that could help us bring CP to the C3.
