I am struggling to get the MagTag to appear as a drive under MacOS. Is there something you need to do beyond just plugging it into a USB port?
The MagTag powers up and does its demo program. So it seems to be working. Also, I can see the tty and access it through the "screen" app...seeing the demo program diagnostics. So I am pretty sure the MagTag and USB connection. is working.
But the MagTag never appears as a drive in Finder.
Is there something that I need to do to enable it? Why doesn't the drive show up?

Have you installed CircuitPython on it? That should initialize the flash filesystem as I understand it.

It is running the factory demo, which I assumed was written in Circuit Python. So wouldn’t that mean that Circuit Python is shipped on it from the factory?

That appears to be written in C++. I'm tracking down the source, but the bin file is linked to on viewtopic.php?f=60&t=185716&p=900230#p900230.
