Adafruit ItsyBitsy M4 Express CAD files

by 10starjester on Tue Jun 12, 2018 4:57 am

Hi there,

Are the Eagle files for the Adafruit ItsyBitsy M4 Express featuring ATSAMD51 available anywhere?

Thanks

Jacob

I don't think those have been cleaned up for publication yet.

When we do publish them, they'll be in our Github repo:

https://github.com/adafruit/

Just type 'itsy' into the 'Search repository' box and you'll get a list of what's available.

Thanks for the reply, any idea on timescale or if the rough files can be made available?

I'm afraid not. The design may not be completely fixed yet.

Is there at least a schematic, or even a list of SAMD pins vs Arduino pin numbering?

Mine's arriving tomorrow, so I suspect the design is somewhat fixed. :)

Any documentation at all on it? I took a look at the Metro M4 Express and that might be a good place to start with software, but we definitely need some hardware documentation!

Some pinout info can be gleaned from the variants.cpp file.
I've updated https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hWHiM1Sk-gxcUmfgm5XQctqf9yaOnkmY66cwd_sRCiY/edit?usp=sharing with info from there.

There is a discrepancy
D7 and D9 are both shown as connected to PortA bit 19.
PA18 isn't shown connected to anything. (so I suspect it should be D7 or D9...)

An article has been posted that includes schematics and links to GitHub hardware files here:
