That was the first thing I tried. Everything else, including swapping processors and cables and the reboot, followed. It didn't work any time I tried it.

I was mistaken. Turns out it was scrolled off the bottom of the disk management. If I enlarge the window to full screen, it showed up.

Here's the screenshot. Note that it is "Disk2 3MB Unallocated", and right-click brought up the properties window, so it is there.

I've been using Windows 32 since it first came out in 1992 (I was part of the beta) and I also used Windows 16 before that, so I know all about F5/Refresh, and that was the first thing I tried. What is weird is that this was all working a month ago.
