Qt Py not visible and not powering up

Post by Caducation »

Hi all, I recently purchased a few QT Py boards for a project I am working on but sadly one of them appears to be dead. When plugged in there are no lights or indicators that it is doing anything. It is not recognized by the computer. Here is what I have tried:

Pressing reset once - nothing
Pressing reset twice fast - nothing
Searching my file browser to see if it appears outside of the arduino ide - nothing.

Cable is good as it powers and programs other qt py and trinket boards.

Is there anything else I can try? Or do I have a dud?

Thanks for looking!

Ps this isn't my first post but apparently I can't reset my old account.

Yup my other SAMD21 boards are fine with the same cable, computer etc. Both for circuitPY and arduino sketches. So I'm guessing its a bad board but maybe I missed something.

Yes, sounds like it. Please email [email protected] with a link to this thread, your order number, and request the replacement of one QtPy.
