QTPY- Can't get into boot loader Mode (Pulsing red)
Although I've used this QTPY before (Arduino IDE), I no longer can get the LED into red - just solid green. And subsequently, can'r download code to it? It shows up in Finder (which doesn't help because I'm not using Python), but the IDE fails saying it can't find the device even though I can select the port correctly in tools. I've tried other ports with an odd result. If the port shows up in Tools, I can only get the green LED. If the port does NOT show up in Tools (happens) I CAN get the red LED.

What happens if you double press the reset button to get into bootloader mode?

Apologies - that's what I do - double-press.
I get a flicker of red (maybe 1/10th of a second) and then green.
But now I'm getting some anomalous behavior so let me re-boot and play around a bit more.
Thanks

Re: QTPY- Can't get into boot loader Mode (Pulsing red)
I just tested behavior here and an initial red followed by steady green is the expected behavior. I'm seeing same. Ending with a green LED indicates that the QT Py at least is happy in terms of being able to see your PC's USB. If you have a charge only USB cable, or other USB cable issues, it would show red instead.
Try other USB cables / ports though. May still be something marginal.
