ItsyBitsy nRF52840 Express powered by Alkaline batteries?
I want to use 4 AA alkaline batteries (6V) to power an ItsyBitsy nRF52840 Express on the BAT pin. The documentation for the feather nRF52840 says that you can't use alkaline batteries because it will destroy the LiPoly charger. Is this true if I use alkaline batteries for the ItsyBitsy as well? I don't plan on ever using the LiPoly charger, so even if it's destroyed by using an alkaline battery, would the board still function? Thanks

According to this https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-its ... ss#pinouts you can put 3 to 6 volts on the pin and since the IB does not charge you are good.
