Does the Itsy Bitsy nRF52xx PCB expose D+/D- pins anywhere?

Post by frednikgohar »

This is a repeat of of previous post where I got no definitive answer from anyone.

Can someone from AdaFruit please confirm or deny this: does the Itsy Bitsy nRF52xx board (product link: https://www.adafruit.com/product/4481) expose the D+/- pins of the USB connector?

I'm making a PCB and it'd be great not having to use wire wrap to get to these pins.

Also regarding using the RST pin: do I need to place a resistor there when I pull the pin down to reset the board? Please advise

Sorry... your post on that previous thread slipped through the cracks., I may have missed the "notify me" switch on it.

D+ & D- are available on two little test pads on the underside of the board, under the USB connector. They are labelled D+ and D-. Alas, you will have to solder onto these pins. Although using pogo pins *might* do the job.

I don't see the need to have any resistor related to the reset pin. That's all handled internally, you just have to take it low briefly.
