I know the 5V board has a minimum voltage input of 5.5 volts or 5 volts on USB power.
My project has a 12 volt battery source (8 AAs). This powers the Itsy Bitsy and a buck/boost converter that provides 5 volts to the ancillary components. I can simplify my project if I can use two 3.7 LiPo packs instead. My friend has seem some irregularities in his setups with anything under 7 volts even when the microcontrollers have a lower minimum voltage threshold. Before I order the necessary items, I wanted to see if 7.4 volts would play nice with the 32u4.
Thanks.

Re: Itsy Bitsy 32u4 Minimum power requirement
The 5v regulator on the ItsyBitsy is a low-dropout type, so anything between 5.5v and 16v is OK. For efficiency, you want to be closer to 5.5v side. So 7.4 should be fine.
