Programming a custom designed SAMD51 board

by Bhindhiya on Tue May 10, 2022 8:07 am

Hi All,

We have designed a custom board using a SAMD51P20A processor. We have used the same IC and design as the SAMD51 Grand Central board.

As it is a new IC, there isn't any bootloader loaded into the board.

How can I program a new board (with no prior configurations) for the first time with a SAMD51 bootloader so that I can directly use the programming USB port for uploading sketches in the future, etc.?

What are the pins I would need? Is there any documentation available for programming a new board with no prior software or configuration?

Any input or advise to program a new custom board would be extremely useful.
Looking forward to your response.
