Metro does not show up under Ports and Coms

by lloydc on Mon Jan 14, 2019 7:26 pm

I recently purchased a Metro and have a question. When I hooked the metro up to my Windows PC to check for the Ports and Com; under Device manager, I did not see it listed; nor did I see "Ports and Com". I did, however, see "other devices" followed by," CP2104 USB to UART bridge controller". Is this correct for the Metro? Shouldn't I see Arduino Uno and the com it is attached to? I'm a first time Metro user. Any help and guidance would be appreciated.
Thank you

At the bottom of the product page. https://www.adafruit.com/product/2488

Mac & Windows People! Don't forget to grab & install the CP2014 VCP drivers from SiLabs to make the COM/Serial port show up right! The default drivers may not support this USB/Serial chip
