Metro M4 Express AtmelStudio Programming SAMD Bootloader

by geekmomprojects on Thu Feb 14, 2019 2:36 am

Hello. I have somehow corrupted my Metro M4 Express such that it does not show up as a drive when connected via USB to my computer. I have a JLink EDU mini, and have been attempting to follow the steps in the tutorial here (https://learn.adafruit.com/how-to-progr ... otloaders/) to program the bootloader. Everything works well until I get to the device programming step where I select "Memories" and program the bootloader I downloaded. I get the following error:
Verifying Flash...Failed! address=0x0000 expected=0xa0 actual=0xff (image attached)

I'm very new to using a JLink, so I don't know what other information I should supply. I'd appreciate any help you can offer - or if there is another method of flashing the bootloader you'd recommend.

Thank you,
Debra
