Trouble accessing port

by hlynch3 on Wed Mar 04, 2020 12:14 am

I purchased a Metro about a month ago because we are working with Arduinos in my Instrumental chemistry class. I am not able to access a port besides "bluetooth" on the Arduino application, and I know it's supposed to be a COM port. I have gotten other peoples' Arduinos in my class to work. I have tried different USB cables. My computer is not recognizing the Metro for some reason, and I am worrying it is a problem with the Metro.

Can you clarify which Metro board you are using. A link to the product page would work.

The Metro 328. That board has a CP2104 USB to serial bridge chip, which is how you talk to the 328 from your PC's USB.

Did you install the CP2104 drivers?
