Arduino IDE and Grand Central Compile Issue

by Darb on Wed Jul 08, 2020 1:11 am

Arduino IDE 1.8.12
Arduino SAMD Boards(32-bits ARM Cortex-MO+) Version 1.8.6 INSTALLED
Adafruit SAMD Boards Version 1.5.14 INSTALLED
Board: "Adafruit Grand Central M4 (SAMD51)" Selected

Sketch runs to completion but displays the following message.

"Bootloader file specified but missing: C:\Users\BlahBlah\AppData\Local\Arduino15\packages\adafruit\hardware\samd\1.5.14\bootloaders\grand_central_m4\bootloader-grandcentralM4-v2.0.0-adafruit.5.bin
Sketch uses 12812 bytes (1%) of program storage space. Maximum is 1032192 bytes."

There is no directory "grand_central_m4" in directory "bootloaders" so the message is not exactly surprising.
I'm a total noob with the Arduino environment so I really have no idea where to go with this and any advice would be appreciated.
One other point that might be germane is that this is without any hardware connected.
I assume that should not make a difference but since I do not yet have any hardware I can't check that possibility, remote as it seems.

Thanks
Darb
