Metro 328 Upload Error

by Celesmeh on Sat Aug 08, 2020 9:00 pm

This morning I purchased a Metro 328 (https://www.adafruit.com/product/2488) From Microcenter. I also have a metro Express. I cant seem to upload any code to the metro. It was the metro kit- and while i cant upload to the metro 328 i can upload ot the Express just fine.

My rerror mesage is: Arduino: 1.8.13 (Windows 10), Board: "Adafruit Metro M0 Express, Arduino, Off"

Sketch uses 10508 bytes (4%) of program storage space. Maximum is 262144 bytes.

An error occurred while uploading the sketch

No device found on COM5

This report would have more information with
"Show verbose output during compilation"
option enabled in File -> Preferences.

Im running Windows 10, When i connect it to my PC the dexivce manager shows a device in Com5, and that port shows up in the IDE.
My computer is running windows 10, but the same error message appeared when I tried to upload from a mac. The Metro is recognized by my computer, and it shows up in the IDE on COM7. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Ive attached what it looks like connected to my PC

You need to change your board selection to "Adafruit Metro".
