Metro Express

Post by Lakesed »

In April 2020 I purchased a Metro Express for the purpose of learning python. It shows up in the device manager as a serial device. The device manager says it is working properly. However, it does not show up in windows explorer, which I need in order to run python. I am using the same USB cable that I use with a Feather MO Express that was purchased at the same time. I can program the Metro with the Arduino IDE and it runs the blink program correctly. The Feather MO Express shows up in the Device Manager and in Windows Explorer. I am able to make changes to the Blink program on the Feather with the MU Editor and it appears to be working normally. My question is why doesn't the Metro Express show up in Windows Explorer and what can I do?

It might not have CircuitPython pre-installed. In any case, you should make sure the latest is installed (7.0 at the moment).

See the installation section https://learn.adafruit.com/welcome-to-c ... cuitpython of the CircuitPythion guide https://learn.adafruit.com/welcome-to-circuitpython.
