Having issue with my board

Post by ddenis »

Hi everyone,

When I double click the reset button on my Metro Grand Central M4 board - nothing happens and only the little green LED light stays on.
The board can't activate the bootloader, and is not recognized as a USB device.

Very much like this post - viewtopic.php?f=63&t=176100&p=857966&hi ... ct#p857966

I don't really know what to do with this board next. I was going to upload Arduino app onto it. Now I can't really.

Have you confirmed that you are using a USB data cable mand not a charge/power one?

Yes, I've tried 5 different cables, and the same ones enumerate as USB for other boards successfully.

I even tried both Mac and Windows, and got the same behavior.

Sounds like a problem somewhere in the USB connection. Please email [email protected] with a link to this thread, your order number, and request the replacement of one Metro Grand Central M4.

Thank you Dave, I'll do that.

I suspect that maybe something happened with the bootloader and as a last resort, I looked into flashing the bootloader myself. However, my computer just doesn't have those tools ready - ARM toolchain, openocd, etc.

Anyways, let me talk to the support next.
