Gamebuino on Metro M4 Express

Post by svenio »

So, on a whim I purchased the Metro M4 Express (PID 3382) and the 3.5" TFT 320x480 + Touchscreen (PID 2050), and in looking for a fun project for them I came across Gamebuino for the first time and I'm wondering about feasibility. After some preliminary research this seems like it might work with the screen running in 8bit mode and I2C for the controls (PID 5296). It is for me at this stage the most ambitious microcontroller project I've ever done so I'm wondering if anyone more experienced than myself has any input/ideas/counsel for me to consider. At this time I'm imagining some kind of 3D printed arcade-like setup. Thoughts?

Of course, if I happen to barking up the wrong tree then please let me know!

Thanks,

// Sven
