Metro Mini not seen by Window10

Post by voidtrance »

I just tried to hook up a Metro Mini to Window 10 but it's not being seen/recognized. I have the drivers (https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_Wi ... ses/latest) installed and I rebooted after installation. The Metro Mini powers up, the "ON" LED is green and the "L" LED is flashing red.

How can I get Windows to recognize my board?

Are you sure your cord is for data and not just power? Can you connect to any other device?

I assume that by "any other device" you mean any other Arduino board. I unfortunately don't have any. I also can't find any other data-capable MicroUSB device. However, I tried 7 different cables and they all behave the same way with the Metro Mini.

What are they for and can you communicate with the devices(phone, radio, iPad)?

I managed to find a cable that seems to work. Thank you for the help and time.
