CRICKIT , makecode.adafruit.com/beta and NEOPIXEL Stick

Greetings;
in 2016, I purchased a Neopixel Stick from Radioshack. It is not opened until now since I purchased a Adafruit CRICKIT and CPX. The tutorial https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-neopixel-uberguide does not mention the Neopixel stick works with makecode.adafruit.com/beta or circuit Python. Does the 2016 neopixel stick, work with makecode.adafruit.com/beta or circuit Python and CRICKIT? Do i need to solder closed the pad on the other side to work with makecode.adafruit.com/beta AND CircuitPython?

I don't have a CRICKIT here, but as far as I understand the documentation, you don't need to solder the ss pad on the CRICKIT.
The CRICKIT Neopixel output is connected to the A1 pin of the CPX by default.
So you can attach your NeoPixel stick to the CRICKIT and program it as if it was connected to the CPX A1 pin.
