Is there a way to see a console log from the physical CPX in MakeCode running on the Mac?

Hi @adavid7 and @pvanallen,

I use this all the time on my mac by running th 'screen' command:

Code: Select all | TOGGLE FULL SIZE
screen /dev/tty.board_name 115200

This page will show you how to determine your "board_name" so you know which tty to access.

Yes, you can do this in the MakeCode session by adding the a console block, and pairing the board. Just make sure you're using Chrome, which allows WebUSB to work. If you have any difficulties pairing the board, update the CPX bootloader as shown here: https://circuitpython.org/board/circuit ... d_express/ (that's a CircuitPython page, but updating the bootloder is the same).

Thanks @johnpark that was it! Got it working.

For anyone else looking for more info, including seamless uploading of MakeCode projects over USB, check this page:
