Arcade with Seesaw ?

Post by FrankSchmidt »

I see the extension in MakeCode Arcade for the Seesaw board. I would buy a Seesaw if it worked. I see no YouTube videos showing Seesaw work within the Arcade environment and there is no useful information on it at Github. I copy the JS test.ts text from Github and paste it into JS of Arcade and get an error message that "seesaw" is the problem even with the Seesaw extension installed in Arcade (appears under 'pins' as far as I can tell). Can anyone at Adafruit tell me if this product works and is it worth buying ? We work in MakeCode Arcade and have the PyGamer which purports to have I2C stacks on the back. Thankyou.

I believe the pxt-seesaw library exists to support the Crickit extension, I haven't used it on its own with the Seesaw breakout board. This may be a good thing to double-check on the Microsoft forums.makecode.com forum, however as @pelikhan is more likely to see it there.
