CLUE just showing black screen! Where to start?

Hello folks,
today I unboxed my brand-new CLUE controller board, but if I power it up the only thing is shown is a black screen and
on the backside a small red flashing LED and also the Neopixel LED steady red!
What are the next steps to get this unit started?
Any buttons I have to press?

My next step would be to put a fresh version of CircuitPython (and libraries!) on it, see https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-clue/circuitpython.
