OK, might need to MacGyver something. Can you find some paper clips or other short lengths of wire that could be inserted into the end of the battery connector:
That will let you test the voltage there with your multimeter by touching the meter probes to wires.- Babbage2020

OK, thanks for testing that. And all the other checks as well. Seems like maybe we've found the issue. Let's replace the battery pack and see what happens.
