CLUE ran once and then no more
New learner, I was so impressed with the CLUE level, I turned it off to go show my wife - it will work to level her long arm quilt machine. But alas, when I turned it back on, the screen blooms slightly but no level or display. I do not know where to begin trouble shooting or reloading the code deck/sketch. I do have a laptop with arduino IDE on it, but thought I should not jump to updating that until I ask for help here.
Ideas....? I have attached a picture of the CLUE board front and back.

Re: CLUE ran once and then no more
Thanks for posting photos, it really helps. Not seeing anything obviously wrong though. Let's try some things.
First, remove the battery pack and try plugging in to your PC via a USB cable. It will then be powered over USB. Do you get the same behavior?

Re: CLUE ran once and then no more
The changes I see are...I get a green light on the back of the board and the blinking redlight is now is slowly blooming (I believe the battery pack gave a red large solid light and the smaller LED was steady blinking red. Screen on top still lightly blooms, but no level app or sensor data presented.
The laptop does see the storage and shows current.uf2, info_uf2, INDEX all dated 1/13/2020
thanks

OK, that sounds promising. That seems like the board is in bootloader mode. The name of the folder you see those files in should be something with BOOT in the name.
You should be able to download this UF2 file (ADABOX15_DEMO.UF2):
https://learn.adafruit.com/adabox015/demo-code
and drag it to that BOOT folder. After the copy, it should reboot and run the demo code.
Try that next and let's see what happens.

Re: CLUE ran once and then no more
Super duper, my level application is back and in the process I have gained some more knowledge and experience of how to get code/sketch on to the CLUE device.
thanks so much, I thought I really clobbered it. Next step, start at the beginning and read a bit more before I get too carried away.
All this is meant to say, you guys fixed it for me, Thanks!

Re: CLUE ran once and then no more
In general, as long as you can get back into bootloader mode, where you see the BOOT folder, then you should be able to recover from any situation.
Glad it's back and working. Not sure what caused the initial loss, but things can happen. At least now you know a general process for recovering. Good luck and have fun!
