CLUE board : unreliable product?

Post by melodylars009 »

Hi,

I just got the package through the mail and noticed that the board is not working properly. When I try running a code over at Mu using an imported library like adafruit_clue it does not run. This error gets generated: "Incompatible .mpy file. Please update all .mpy file." However in the hard drive, I do have the adafruit_clue.mpy in the lib folder. This makes me think that the engineering design for this board lacked oversight and consumer feedback. The .mpy is from the latest bundle and the Mu editor is also the latest version.

Do the versions of the bundle and CircuitPython match (e.g. CP 5.3.0 and bundle 5.x)?

There could only be 2 bundles to choose from. I've used both and had similar errors appear. I've kept the code.py in the hard drive.

You didn't answer my question. What version of CircuitPython is running on the board?
