Stemma cables and the clue Moderators: adafruit_support_bill, adafruit

So, I connected stemma I2C cables to my sensors to connect to my PyPortal. But when I look at the I2C connector on your website that connect from a sensor to the clue (the larger to the smaller), the wires don't match up... Seems the power and ground are on the opposite sides.

Can I get a clarification on this and a link to the proper connector? Thanks!

Can you clarify what information you are looking at? The connectors have an index tab so can only be installed in one direction.

The mention of crossed wires made me miss that you were looking for an adaptor for big to small. This is the cable to connect to STEMMA QT or the small size.

If you want to connect STEMMA QT breakout boards to the PyPortal, use this:
https://www.adafruit.com/product/4424

The connector on the PyPortal is JST PH (aka STEMMA)
The connector on most breakouts is JST SH (aka STEMMA QT)

If you are finding something with crossed or backwards wires, please let us know exactly what it is.

The cable I suggested but changed the link is:

The proper cable you linked is the JST SH to JST PH adaptor however it in NOT in the STEMMA QT cable section:
