Hello! I am experiencing screen artifact with the Clue. I did check the connection and it is solid. I purchased mine on April 1, 2021
Thanks!

Please try running this ready to go test program:

and see if you get similar behavior.

Thanks. That looks like the screen is damaged. You got this CLUE a little over a month ago. Has it always been like that?

No, it's worked fine until yesterday. It's my "testing" clue which sits on my desk.

The damage looks physical. Like something crushed the lower right corner of the screen. Did anything like that happen?

Re: Clue Screen artifacts
Not that I'm aware of... I have two teenage boys and I travel for my job. So, I can't verify that they didn't but it's just been on my desk the last month and a half.
If it is physically damaged, I totally understand it not being under warranty.. I just ordered three screens from Digikey... so no worries. Thanks!

Re: Clue Screen artifacts
Very sorry that happened, but something along those lines does seem most likely. Similar things have occurred, like shipping damage, but in general, it requires something to cause it - like with shipping, dropping ,etc. Is your idea with replacement screens to try and repair?

Yes. It seems pretty strait forward and though I trust my kids... sometimes they don't tell me the whole story. So, I'm not going to rule out damage they may have caused.adafruit_support_carter wrote:Is your idea with replacement screens to try and repair?
