Does that means your project has ended ?
Your version looked much more interesting with more controls...

no way... I spend more than a year and lotsa money on this ;)
I think I'll finish first 3HE 19" drummie until next weekend... or so
photos and sounds will follow then.

but this Yocto 808 clone seems to be interesting too because of the built in sequencer.

hi Ben,

the new PCBs have MIDI onboard but each instrument can be triggered by an external sequencer like MidiBox sequencer or so.
I have started to assemble the first 19" rack drumsynth.

the same manufacturer which made my x0xb0x panels in the past.
I have just made the design on my Mac and send it online to the manufacturer here in germany. (Fahrion in Baden-Wuerttemberg)
the front is made of 3mm aluminum and the backplate is 2mm thick. the backplate is silkscreened too.

I hope I can finish the first one until next weekend.

There's the mb909, the sequencer will be available soon. The desktop case is not for now, will have to wait.

Yeah it could use another case though.

Also good news, I heard they're going to opensource the firmware

Hi Christian,

The silkscreen panels look very nice! I'm checking in my work area if somebody can do a nice cnc job for mee for the panels.. I was wondering if it was still possible to trigger the instruments in the new midi version, but just read that it is still possible. Great project, hope the pcb's work out fine in the test version..
