tr-8080

Post by manmachine »

Hi,

finally there is a worthy 100% clone TR 8080!
The TR-8080 is based on the "Yocto" and thus to the circuit diagrams of the Roland TR-808 and has a 99% reproduction of these old analog machine. At 99 percent, because instead of BA662a a BA6110 OTA used comes :-) 100% handmade , 100% discrete structure, full Roland TR-808 sound!

The chaser sequencer is similar to the TR-808 sequencer, but slightly easier to use: even without a manual you know after three minutes as it works!
The machine has MIDI IN / OUT / THRU, and also still has a DIN SYNC output in Roland format. In addition, there are two trigger outputs.
The TR-8080 can be used as an external MIDI sound module.
Individual outputs for all instruments and a mono sum output as the original.
Extremely thick sound, very clean!

The entire housing incl. The knobs is made of black anodized, high-alloyed aluminum and printed in 4-color screen printing process.
Very valuable in optics, very stable in use.

Hi Dear,

This TR-8080 differs firstly by the very high quality construction, such as the housing, which is composed of full aluminum.
Then he really sounding distinctly more brilliant than anything experienced before. That is, the low percentage was considerably reduced. The sounds are more powerful, yet sounding the no worse for sure, as his role model, Roland TR808.
All in all, these clones a really in every respect successful Drumsynthesizer.

Best Regards
Andreas
