Building a GUI, anyone used LittlevGL

by basrijn on Tue Jul 23, 2019 2:57 pm

Hi,

I've been looking for an "easy" way to build a good looking GUI for my microcontroller projects. Never found anything that really stood out, until I saw a post on twitter yesterday where somebody used:
https://littlevgl.com/

Has anybody used it for their projects? There is not a great amount of examples, and searching on this forum returned zero results. I'm not to far into my microcontroller journey, so I need lost of examples to get something to work :)

I’m afraid we don’t know anything about that one, but maybe someone from the community has tried it.

Hi,

Let me suggest a few ways to get started:
- Take a look at the documentation, especially the Quick overview section to how LittlevGL works.
- Download a simulator to try LittlevGL on PC: https://docs.littlevgl.com/en/html/get-started/pc-simulator.html
- See the examples of the object types. E.g. for button: https://docs.littlevgl.com/en/html/obje ... ml#example
- If you have any questions feel free to use LittlevGL's forum: https://forum.littlevgl.com/

I hope I could help :)

Hi Gabor,

Thank you for all your work on that library. I haven't found the time to play with it yet, but hope to do so over winter :)
