Defective MAX31856 Breakout Board

I purchased three MAX318566 Breakout Boards and after soldering the pins, I tested them using an Arduino Mega and the provided code as outlined on the Testing page. After repeated testing, I found two of the three to be working wonderfully and the third to be defective. I am in need of replacement so as to get readings from three T-type Thermocouples for my Mechanical Engineering Research project at Trinity College. Thank you in advance for your help.

This looks like a potential soldering issue as there is not good flow from the pin tops to the via. Can you go over the solder points on the "defective" MAX31856 and try it again.

When was this order placed?

The order was placed two Wednesdays ago on 6/9/2021. I had in fact improved the soldering job on all three just after the picture was taken, but the one I believe is defective still is not operating at all.

take a new photo - the one above has all cold solder joints, they are not good.

I made the same assessment that my initial soldering was poor, I improved them all to the degree that can be seen in the attached photo but to no avail.

Thank you for the updated photo. The soldering is better.

Normally I'd ask for a photo of the unit wired up and the example code you are running, but since the other two work and this one continues to be an issue let's for you let's swap it.
