Mini Thermal Printer don't feed paper anymore

Post by uelikeller »

Dear support team

I'm using your mini thermal printer (Aricle number 597) for one month now.

It was working fine at the beginning. After some day's the paper stocked some times and wasn't feeding continuously. Some text was printed realy small. With some "support" to the feed mechanism it was working fine again -> I pulled the outcomming paper.

Now, the paper isn't feeding anymore -> It seems to be a mechanical issue with the feed mechanism.
If I press the feed button, I can hear the feed mechanism is working but no paper is comming out.

Which solution can you provide me?
Many thanks for your support.

Best Regards,

The paper feed mechanism is pretty simple. The rubber roller on the lid mates with a drive gear in the main body of the printer.

The paper roll itself just sits in the bottom of printer. With the lid open, it should should rotate freely.

Can you visually inspect the gear areas and see if there is anything obvious that might be interfering with the feed mechanism.
