LCD used in video Making the Safe-T-Flow part 2

by Shazzner on Sun Sep 13, 2009 2:22 am

Hi there, this is in reference to a question I submitted to adafruit and was told to post it here:

In the video Making the Safe-T-Flow part 2 you had an LCD screen on an arduino shield. That screen looks remarkably similar to one I picked up at an electronics store not too long ago.
Unfortunately try as I might I couldn't find a datasheet for this LCD anywhere online. I was wondering if you could help me find it via link or whatnot.

All I know is that is says Sharp HCN-24V on the pcb, it also has a sticker with LM20X212 on it but I don't know if that's something else.

I know this an odd ball request, but any help would be appreciated! :)

Thanks for responding! Actually I do not think that is the same one, let me show you:

This is the one in your video:

This is the one that I have:

Notice the pin layouts compared to the one you linked, although at first I thought they were identical I noticed they are a little different.

If I had a datasheet on these lcd screens I could write an arduino library, as most of them deal with the lcd screen you linked to.

Thanks in advance.
