Hi,
i want buy powerboost 1000 for my application.
the purpose is to increase the battery life, I have inserted a device that turns on and off RPI at defined times.
I tried to attack a 30,000mah powerbank but by consuming little power it goes off but does not wake up.
I thought about inserting a battery and connecting the system with the powerboost.
The configuration is:
Raspberry Pizero W + RPI Noir CAM
Start - Stop witty mini http://www.uugear.com/doc/WittyPiMini_UserManual.pdf
witty mini: ~5mAwith dummy load turned off or ~7mA in average with dummy load turned on
powerboost : low quiescent current: 5mA when enabled and power LED is on, 20uA when disabled
With the powerboost 1000, will the device wake up or remain on idle mode?
thanks for suggestion

Re: Powerboost wake for draw current
The PowerBoost doesn't shut off based on the amount of current going to the load. It only shuts off on its own if the LiPo voltage gets too low.
The PowerBoost does have an ENABLE pin that will it off, but that has to be controlled by an external device like a microcontroller.
