Hi all,
I'm working on this Learning guide: https://learn.adafruit.com/babel-fish?view=all
I have all of the components soldered on and connected but I can't get the NFC shield to read any cards or chips. See the attached photos of my wiring and serial monitor.
When I place an Adafruit provided card next to the reader, nothing is detected. When the arduino and shield power on, the shield's green and red lights come on for a moment, and then the red one turns off, leaving the green one on. The serial monitor also doesn't seem to detect the board (as seen by the strange characters).
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Josh

Please post a photo showing your soldering on the other side of the shield.

I realized I needed to change the baud to 115200 and now it's coming through successfully.
Thanks for your help!
