One other thing to try here. Try disconnecting the microphone and play some sound from another source (e.g phone or mp3 player). If you still have the pops, it is likely a problem in the amp. Otherwise, it may be coming from the microphone board.

also check your soldering, there's some cold solder joints we see on the mic wires and the speaker terminals
