Issues Solder points on Neopixel Side Glow 3636

We have purchased 35 meters of the 3636 Side Glow Black RGB Neopixel, and have carefully removed them from the waterproof sleeving. We seem to have alot of the units with defective soldering and intermittent flashing on the data input to the 3636 units. We have ordered an additional 15 meters to hedge our bets while installing the product. What is your position on replacement or credit for the non working units.

Can you post a photo of the suspect soldering.

It seems that the solder pads are cracking on the tape, after we removed the silicone sleeve and end cap, and causing the Data connection to be lost, we cut off at the first node and reconnected the wire leads and the tape is functional. Would it be possible to get one string, gratis, to help us thru the re soldering process.

It sounds like this damage may be happening when you remove the end caps / waterproof sleeve. And you say it's happening to a lot of them. Are they all OK before doing the modifications?

We did not check before removing the waterproofing, we will test the next 15 strings before we remove the sleeving.
